The idea of Sweaty Tummy Club developed in the sauna at the bathhouse. An idea about how I and the other sweaty women in there belonged to the same club. A club where there is a mutual understanding, a kind of silent agreement between us, the club members. We have a connection, one that is created by being naked together. By being vulnerable and forgiving, accepting and having a neutral gaze, a gaze that is not sexualising or judging – such a connection is created.

The Sweaty Tummy Club is displayed at OpenART in Örebro the summer 2019.
